It's been 20 days since I last blogged. I think about it and have moments where, like Barney on "How I Met Your Mother", I declare that 'this is so going in the blog' but then I never can quite sit down to compose and then the photo thing--uploading, moving them to fit the text, etc.--well, if it's between blogging and watching the newest episode of "Glee", imma goin' with "Glee". (sidenote: have I mentioned yet that when I worked in Dallas I worked with Conde Salling, as in Mark Salling, as in 'Puck' on "Glee"'s mother? I'm only 1 degree from "Glee"...)
Having Miss F is 'real' school has put the B Family in a slight tailspin, that and my job being different every day finds us always a bit out of sync. Am I walking Miss F to school or are you? Do I pick up McButter before or after I pick up Miss F? And a few times I've relied on the kindness of strangers (not really, friends and fellow moms, to be truthful) to grab Miss F and buy me the 10 minutes I need to come skidding in sideways from a sales call in some remote part of the state (or just Alvin). Miss F and I and Mr B's aunt and cousin attended the J.onas Bro.thers concert 2 weeks ago and had a great time. Say what you will but those boys play their own instruments and don't waste time dancing, they just sing and play for a full 2 hours. And they're kinda cute, too, and I can say that now since they're all 18 years old.
We did sneak in a camping trip to P.edernales F.alls last weekend and it was nice to get away from it all for a bit. We are attempting to camp one weekend every month and while it does get a wee bit stressful in the prep and then once again in the clean-up, it's worth it in the end.
I just received my new iPhone4 because Mr. B is so kind and generous and doesnt like technology so he gave his upgrade to me. He did get my old iPhone and is trying hard not to act too fascinated by all he can do with it. Anyways...here's a video of McButter taken on my phone.
