So it pains me to blog these words but....I didn't completely love the Madonna concert. It's funny, just before the show began I was recounting how I'd waited years to see Depeche Mode and when I finally did, it was one of those 'new album' tours where you don't know the songs and they don't play the oldies and goodies. Well, same with Madonna. I think as an older fan, I wanted the nostalgic songs. I wanted a nice mix of "Ray of Light" and "Music" which are newer but also "Holiday" and "Papa Don't Preach". She did a few of the oldies and you could tell the audience was much like me, the whole room exploded when she did "Just Like A Prayer" but calmed down again when she did the new stuff. It was quite a production, she's amazing and I was happy just to be in the same room with her (even if it was a 60,000+ crowd) but for concert fun--you know, the stand the whole time, dance, sing along to every song, rock it out, good time...New Kids beat Madonna hands down. Bon Jovi beat Madonna. Hell, John Fogerty beat Madonna. But I still love her and admire her and I got to check it off my list of things to do.Oh...and in other news....I had my big ultrasound today. Is Miss F's gift back? Well...let's see. When I told her the news her reaction was this "Oh, thank you, Mommy!!". Then she proceeded to tell me she wanted to name the new baby ....ready....

According to Miss F the new baby should be named.....

So, she was right. We will welcome another girl in April. But I don't think Paula is in the running for a name.

I was interested in reading your take on the Madonna concert. I have spoken with a few folks who expressed similar opinions. Great Bod but not that great of a concert. And making everyone wait 2 hours to start. So last year!

You can use the girl name that Annalise picked for our baby, since we don't need it now- Jemima! I think it works nicely with Miss F.
