Wake Me Up, Before you Go Go

When we last left our heroine...actually, I can't remember my last blog or where I left off in the adventures of the B Family.

Here is what I know

1. Our camera is out of batteries so no recent photos
2. Miss F is waking in the night to use the bathroom which means Mr. B and myself are also getting up in the night except Miss F is on a mom only kick so when Mr. B tries to help out, all that we get is a screaming fit at 3 a.m. Sigh. I've begun taking her to the bathroom around 10:30 before I go to bed and it's helping but it feels kinda mean to wake her up to go-go.
3. Miss F is on her 2nd round of antibiotics for an ear infection. I was sure we were rid of those pesky ear infections. I guess I was wrong.
4. We went to Brazos Bend State Park this weekend. The weather was gorgeous--not too hot, not too cold, not too humid, not too dry--perfect for hiking amongst the alligators. Yes, this park is full of them--in some spots 15 to 20 gators laze about with their tails on the trails. It's a love hate relationship--I love the park, it's beautiful and I love to escape the city but I hate, hate, hate sharing it with those pesky alligators that I'm sure are awaiting to take a bite out of me!
5. We babysat some friends' kids last weekend--1 year and 3 year--so we experienced a 1, 2 and 3 year old all at the same time. It was fun but getting them all in the car with all their stuff was an experience.
6. February is proving to be a busy month--this week I have an event at school called "We Love to Read" and I have 40+ local celebs, athletes, etc. coming to school. I'm in charge of it all and I'm suffering insomnia over it but it shall be over soon. Then I have a book fair and a PTA meeting that I'm in charge of AND an author visit. Ergh. Come on March and come in like a lamb (because February is already a bit of a lion)
7. It's late, I'm tired and I'm sure there is more, I just can't think of it right now.
