Summer Fun

OK--I just read two friends' blogs. Both have 1 week old babies (2 college friends had their boys on the same day!) and older siblings and they blogged, posted pictures and here I sit, one child who is napping sweetly (knock wood) and I haven't blogged in almost a week.

We've been having summer fun!

Friday Miss F and I headed to Dallas. She hung out with A to the M.C. for the weekend while I hosted a bachelorette party for Miz Woolf. And boy did we howl at the moon. Another hostess pulled out V.I.P. status for the 25 of us and what a blast we had. I partied like a rock star, like a 21 year old and these old bones took it adn didn't even cry. The worst part was 3 hours of sleep on the floor. That's what knocked this old grey mare down a notch or two. On our return home, Miss F went to Mr. A's house for a night of fun and Mr. B and myself went out to see a play.

Monday Miss F and I went to library storytime. Yesterday she went to daycare and I organized closets. My linen closet is fantastic and I hope to get Miss F's closet to a closet/play area soon. She's really into dress-up and I want to get at least 1/4 of the closet fitted with a lower bar and bins of clothes/shoes/hats. I want to take the doors off the tracks and put up curtains instead so she can get in and out without pinching fingers!!

Today we went to Noah's Ark, a kid friendly (read--6 inches of water only) pool with a Noah's Ark theme--Hippos spitting water, an ark, a rainbow slide, etc. So fun. I'm exhausted. We had 1 parent per child and I can't even imagine how my daycare provider (Miss Molly) wrangled so many toddlers onto an Amtrak train for a day at the beach each summer.

I have 14 more pictures on the roll before I can get it developed. Seriously. I really need to get a new digital cam. It's totally cramping my blogging style.
