School's out for summer!

Now, most schools in Texas were out before Memorial Day but my special school deemed us worthy of staying an extra 2 weeks longer. I'm finally out and ready to have some fun!

Miss F is taking swim lessons and is a little fishy in the water. I read on other blogs that many of you do year-round swimming lessons and that might be something that we look into for Miss F. We're also in gymnastics and I plan to have all kinds of library/park/swimming/zoo fun this summer. She'll go to daycare at least 2 days a week for water play days. We've had successful potties every day and she's even using the potty at daycare.

Mr. B and I have been keeping busy. We got a free, wooden swing set. It's been loved and needs some cleaning up but soon we'll have a place for Miss F to swing and slide to her heart's content. Mr B is working hard and taking on Miss F duties at night as I have been having meetings (I'm teaching Vacation Bible School this summer, if you can believe it), nights out with the girls (saw "Spamalot"...so good!) and am taking water aerobics 2 nights a week.

We're off to gymnastics!
