oh, who are the people in your neighborhood?

The policeman is a person in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood...

We had to call the police on our behind-door neighbors today. The teenage boys think it's OK to take down fence boards between our properties and use our yard as a shortcut. In doing so, their Rottweiler gets out and has free reign on our yard. We've been nice about it. Rick even fixed the fence when we moved in. But, when the post office threatens to cut off your mail due to the 'dangerous dog' and your elderly neighbors have had items stolen, minor vandalism done, etc. it's time to take things more seriously. So...we called the non-emergency line and the nice policemen came out. They proceeded to put the fear of juvie in the hearts of the boys. Even though the Channel 2 news crew wants you to believe differently....go HPD! We *heart* you!

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. We're off to Rick's old stomping grounds and then on to Port Aransas to met up with my folks.

Is Port A a hidden gem of a vacation spot?? What is there to be jealous of, I wonder? Happy Thanksgiving from the land of sky blue waters.

Yeah, some of us get to go to beautiful Baytown for Thanksgiving. "Honey, I think the turkey's on fire! Oh-- nevermind, it's just the oil refinery again..."
