FYI--The batteries on our digital camera are muerta. We haven't used up the roll of film in the other camera. Hence, why we have no photos of Miss F to share.
We had a nice weekend. It started on Friday with Miss F's "Pow Wow" at daycare. The kids ate turkey sandwiches and the parents got to sit and visit. I have photos of Miss F in her pilgrim hat. I'll post them when we finish this roll of film.
On Saturday we woke up and went on an adventure to Gallery Furniture. We're on the hunt for a nice office set. Miss F enjoyed 'driving the car' (it was a car-stroller they provided, very cute) and we saw some things we liked but are planning on looking some more. Then Miss F and I joined C and little B for a walk to the park. Miss F learned to climb up the stairs and enjoyed crossing the drawbridge and sliding on the slide. We then walked to the library to see a puppet show. Miss F sat through the whole thing! She waved at the wolf puppet and seemed to really enjoy herself. Next, we went to lunch and shoe shopping. Then we had nap/errands/lawn mowing. When Miss F woke up we got her gussied up and went to have what we hope will be the annual B Family photo shoot.
On Sunday, Mr. B drove to San Antonio to meet my parents. They brought my piano from AZ and Mr. B met them and brought it home to Houston. We had a regular Amish Barn Raising (or piano moving, if you must) when two friends helped move the piano and then we all ate dinner. We had raclette, fondue and s'more machines a'runnin'. The theme was use your gadgets night. It was quite tasty and so cute to see Miss B, Mr. A and Miss F playing together. Of course, Miss B and Mr A play together, interact, sometimes even tussle while Miss F plays the Casio or reads a book. In the future, I see Mr. A and Miss B will be playing sports and Miss F will be writing about it for the school newspaper and/or yearbook.
Whew! How was everyone else's weekend?

Moving a piano... that costs a lot of energy! Well, you did reward them very well with a nice raclette and fondue. I would have come and helped, had I been invited! So, may I ask, which did you prefer, the raclette or the fondue?
Thanks for asking - My weekend.... was tiring!! Andy had to work ALL weekend, so I had to finish up the last raking of the leaves solo (did the final 10 bags of the 30 or so that we have) and do a complete, deep house cleaning. We're not even having Thanksgiving at our house, but the cleaning needed to be done! I feel very domestic - also made a huge pot of chili and some cupcakes with homemade frosting... Mmmmmm -- and worked on a quilt for friend. Just 1 more day with kids, then a very long (much needed) weekend ahead. I love reading your blog - Happy Thanksgiving!
