We had a great Thanksgiving. We arrived in Rick's hometown on Wednesday evening after a joyous 4 hour ride with Miss F (she didn't nap as hoped and screamed most of the way--thank goodness for DVDs and the Laurie Berkner Band for giving us a bit of respite from the deluge of dolphin-pitched utterings). Miss F enjoyed her turkey, dressing, and cranberries. She digs the cranberries. She was pulled in her wagon like the princess she thinks she is, spent time with all her relatives and had a grand ol' time. We climbed in the vehicle to go to Port A on Friday. This car ride was easier as she slept longer AND she watched Laurie Berkner and Classical Baby ad nauseum.
Port A was fabu--80+ degrees, sunny. We hung out with my parents until Sunday when we drove on back to H-town. A good time was had by all--especially me. I read 4 books and 3 magazines over the 5 day break! Love it!
So....what exactly was the Thanksgiving Miracle, you ask? Well....when we arrived in Port A my parents had a special surprise waiting for me. They nonchanlantly asked what we'd like to drink and dropped that th

ey had beer--Leinenkugal's to be exact. There is a Sam's Club in Corpus that sells cases of Leinie's! (Dennis, are you reading this--here's what y'all can get me for Christmas). I had Leinenkugal's all weekend long....yum, yum, YUM.
Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was grand!
