Retro post: Disney Style, Day 2

Day 2 was the stuff a Disney Nerds Dreams are made of...having used Disney Web Sites and Chat rooms to plan both our Honeymoon and this return celebration, I had heard of families being chosen to help open to park.  Well, as we stood in line waiting to enter on Extra Magic Hour morning, we were the family!  We were part of the opening show for Magic Kingdom!

It's pretty hard to top that...there we are with Mickey and Mary Poppins and fireworks and then...then we got a ride down Main Street in the firetruck!

The rest of the morning was spent on all our favorite Disney Rides and then back to the hotel for lunch and a nap.  We had dinner at Ohana and then returned for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party where (in my very blurry picture) it snowed on Main Street.  McButter slept through the parade but Miss F enjoyed waving and greeting the characters.
