The things we did today while we were trapped in our house by the giant ice storm. Which, if you listened to the news was pretty grim and frightening. But if you ventured out, as I did to go run at the YMCA, you realized that there was no ice at all accept on the highest of overpasses. Of course, this reminds me of a blog post from 2007 you can find
here. But, since everyone else was doing it, we stayed inside, too. We made shrinky-dink necklaces, Miss F did Perler Bead projects, we tried going cold-turkey with panties for McButter and then washed the couch cushions when that experiement didn't work, we watched TV, we played dress up, we played Barbie, we played Sleeping Hyenas (a Miss F created game of just laying in bed as far as we can tell), the girls pretended to sleep in McButter's crib, they put every stuffed animal in the house in McButter's crib, they ate lunch and are now on the 3rd hour of a nap for both of them (huzzah!)
