Art Car 2010

We enjoyed an evening preview of the Art Cars this year. Usually we go on Saturday and walk the parade route as the cars line up and it's always blazing hot and we're walking on a shadeless blacktop. Last year we almost cooked poor McButter in the Ergo carrier. It's usually pretty miserable but we keep coming back because it's so cool and unique and we always went out to eat with friends afterwards. We switched things up this year and have decided this way is the way to go...picnic at Dis.covery Green, playground time, water play time, ice cream time and then walk around enjoying 30 or so of the Art Cars. This Radio Flyer Wagon Car was my favorite Art Car and I tried many times to get both girls to look at the camera at the same time. No such luck.

One of the coolest things about doing this evening event was the lighting of the cars as dusk fell. Miss F couldn't help but jam out to the tunes coming from this car...
