Fall Festivities

The past few weekends have been chock full of fall festivities: carnivals, trick or treating (2 days in a row since our neighborhood does it the day before Halloween), parties, parades, pumpkin patches and the like. The weather here has, for the most part, been wonderful.

Both girls had their well checks. Both are in the 75% for height/weight. Miss F was so excited to receive her shots because I told her she could shout out 'potty' words while it was happening. She did shout a few out but by the 4th shot she was crying. Those tears quickly dried when I said the magic words----Chick-Fil-A! McButter ended up vomiting all over our friends' couch on Friday and as far as we can tell it was either a 12 hr. bug that the nurse said was going around or a reaction to her 4 shots (yes, she had 4 as well). In other news, our family is a living science experiment as one child got the seasonal flu and one got the swine flu. We'll see who comes out ahead in the end, I guess.
