Midwest Living, Pt 4 (The Final Day)

On the last day in Wisconsin, we drove out to Spring Valley where my parents still have a wee bit of property. We checked it out for a minute or two because, as Miss F stated, "there is no house there, so let's get back in the car!"

We have a family friend that lives on the farm catty-corner to my folks property (and at one point when my folks owned more of the property, right next door). We stopped in and had a fabulous brunch (Miss F had 3rd helpings of the quiche!!) and were gifted with bags full of children's books! As you can see, Miss F continued her obsession with statues (and is still obsessed to this day, in fact, we spent a good 15 minutes looking at the statues at the grocery store just the other day).

We left after brunch and drove to KC-Kansas. Got in late, woke up early and into Houston we came. Of course, we drove straight into Eduardo, the little hurrican that couldn't, just outside of Dallas which meant we drove in rain for a couple hours. And, here we are, home again. Jiggedy-jig.
