Batteries

Yeah....so I really need to buy batteries. I'm having this problem with remembering to put it on the list. The other day I drove by a Target, thought to myself, man, we need batteries and pulled into the parking lot. When I returned to the car with my $56.78 worth of purchases--guess what? No batteries!! Anyways...when I get batteries, I can download the photos of California. When I finish the disposible camera bought at the berry picking farm because I thought the batteries were still good but at a pivotal photo opportunity, they were, in fact, dead, I will post those photos, too.

We've been having a fun summer Miss F and I (and sometimes Mr. B on weekends). We have been to the zoo, she's been to daycare, and we've gone "roller skating" (put in quotes because we went to a preschool skate at a roller rink that really meant anything on wheels--push toys, scooters, strollers and some skating--but Miss F insisted on trying on skates and I pulled her around the rink a few times before she quit to push her baby stroller around and do the Hokey Pokey on more sure footed feet). We joined a local pool so we've been swimming to keep cool and Miss F continues with her ballet and swim lessons.

We are still here and are looking forward to the 4th of July with our neighborhood parade/celebration and a night of symphony (complete with 1812 overture with canons) and fireworks (though I am sad that I won't be watching the fireworks over the St. Croix River...sniffle....)
