We Are the World

This photo makes me think of the video for the song "We Are the World" when all the recording artists have their headsets on or, the really cool ones, were holding them to their ears.

Speaking of music, I came in from a run yesterday and had my iPod in my hand. Miss F was very interested so I let her listen. It happened to be on the theme song for "Cheers" (which, btw, made me a little verklempt for my Morris pals). She listened then motioned for a new song. It was Take That's cover of the Bee Gees "How Deep is your Love". Again, listened then wanted a change. Next--"Nothin' but a G Thang" and Miss F was dancing! She also liked the Dead Milkman's "Punk Rock Girl".

It was 41 degrees at 9:30 a.m. and we went to the Zoo. Everyone was either wimping out or Christmas shopping because we were literally one of maybe 20 people there! It was quite pleasant, actually, and we enjoyed ourselves. Met some friends for lunch and came home and were blessed with a 2.5 hour nap from Miss F! We havent' had one of those in some time now. Guess the cold kicked in the caveman like need for hibernation.

Here are some photos from our chilly Thanksgiving at the beach...

41 degrees??!! That's downright balmy for us. It's been down to single digits the last few nights. Bbbrrr!

I read the New York Times and the B family everyday. I prefer the B family because of Flinn.
