DTC

I think there was a band OTC. And if you're trying to get pregnant you're TTC (trying to conceive) and if you need some lovin', it's TLC so here at the B Family household we are DTC. Which means Dossier to China. We finished the paperchase and now await our LID (locked in date). That means China has deemed us worthy to adopt. Then we wait, and wait and wait....the agency says current wait times are 20-23 months. Rumor has it that it is more like 36 months before referral (receiving name/photo/child). We will see. For now we enjoy Miss F and livin' la vida loca.

We had a full weekend

• Miss F went to "Christmas Camp" at church (they babysat from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.)


• We had friends over for dinner (Mrs. G to the R, you are soooo next on the list) and I "made" Honey-Pecan Pork Roast with Herbed Cherry Sauce (the "" are because it was from Dream Dinners), salad and a caramel banana topping for ice cream. Mr. and Mrs. Smith brought homemade au-gratin potatoes.


• We had a park date with a friend


• I went on a Christmas home tour to kick off the holiday season


• Mr. B became Clark W. Griswold for two days and fought, erm, I mean hung the Christmas lights


• Miss F went to a pretty princess tea party for a friends birthday

Whew! Miss F is currently scared of owls. Therefore she is scared of the dark because owls come out at night. She chants "owls are my friends" if we ever have to be outside after dark.
