Oh the weather outside is frightful!

Did I not ask for cold weather in one of my recent blogs? Well, someone was listening! It was wonderfully brisk for the Thanksgiving weekend. It was grey and cold and oh so cozy. Days that just call for cocoa with whipped cream, a puzzle or book, and going outside until you can't stand the cold anymore and coming in and enjoying the warmth. It snowed in two of my former cities--El Paso and Dallas on Thanksgiving Day. We just got the cold and the grey but I was a happy camper (and still am as it is chilly in Houston at night/early morning)

After 2 days in Little D and 2 days in Port A (a beach town but there wasn't much beach as the surf/tide was HIGH the whole time but I still loved it), we headed home and are now doing laundry, errands, and all that other catch-up.

I had a Dr. appt today and I have been cleared to go 2-3 years without another check-up of my bum! She said I didn't even have microscopic evidence of my colotis, either. So I'm feeling pretty happy about that!

Our adoption paperwork went to the Agency yesterday and if all goes well, will be mailed to China on Friday. Now it's just wait, wait and wait....

Miss F enjoyed time with all the grandparents and aunts, uncles, cousins 2x's removed. She loved the beach and especially enjoyed the blustery wind. She's a Midwest girl at heart, I just know it. Here's Firetruck Miss F. This is from the Neighborhood Night Out I planned back in October. Hence the shorts. We aren't wearing shorts now because it is COLD! Yay!
