We are pretty wet and soggy here in Houston but so far (knock wood) we aren't completely under water in the B Family. Mr. B had to turn around and come home on his 1st attempt to get to work but he made it on the 2nd try (and after the 2nd cup of coffee). Miss F and I were going to a library event but didn't attempt due to the weather. Instead, we've holed up in the home and are making Lemon Poppy Seed bread (well, I'm making the bread...she's in her high chair eating Cheerios).
Of course, the local news teams are on fire. Reporting 24/7 and cutting into "Days of Our Lives" just as Patch and Kayla were returing. Yes! Patch and Kayla! Does that bring back 8th grade memories of summer or what?!?

I am so glad to hear y'all are safe! It was great seeing the B family this weekend. Sure do wish y'all lived closer!! Thanks for your wondeful hospitality.
Might be time to take Miss F. in for swimming lessons.... ;)
