Before and After, Part II

Today's installment is the kitchen/breakfast nook. It's amazing what a coat of white paint will do for a room--the formica counters even look halfway decent. We also tore out the linoleum and put in tile. However, we're noticing a problem with the sealer and may have to either learn to live with the "creative" way it looks or get Gerardo back out to help us figure out what went wrong. Still, in the photo it looks good. Eventually we may do a total kitchen remodel or we may just get granite countertops and take off the 60s style scalloped wood edges on the cabinets. We'll see.... again, I am no photographer and no matter how many lights I have on and blinds open, etc. I still seem to take dark pictures!
