Ever have one of those weeks?
Miss F is sitting up! Well, she sits if you plop her down. She can't get to the sitting position on her own. She likes this better than lying down, however, and is willing to let you know with her new screaming technique.
This has been a crazy week! Monday was pretty good--it was Mr. B's first day at Exxon-Mobil and I'd planned ahead and had dinner bubbling hot in the crockpot. I also made it to the gym before picking up Miss F from daycare. Then Tuesday hit--Miss F had been showing some signs of an ear infection so I was able to get a Dr. appt. for 5:00. However, I forgot that I had to buy a shower gift for a co-worker's shower the next day. I ran from work to Bed, Bath and Beyond (always makes me think of the movie "Old School"). Then rushed home to pick up Miss F from daycare and then turned around and went the opposite direction to the Dr. office. It was like a Bermuda Triangle. But I made it, rush hour and all. Get home--no dinner made, had to get the Rx for the ear infection and eventually collapsed in bed after an unhealthy fast food meal and 40+ minutes at the Walgreens (but I did catch up on my People and US magazine reading). Wednesday I stayed late at work for the shower, thought Mr B was picking up Miss F but hadn't heard confirmation so I rushed to daycare to find her still there, rushed home to meet the realtors. Get home to discover realtors need to reschedule. No dinner ready, laundry piled up and now Miss F has a rash. Today, had to do a training after work, rush home to meet realtors and Miss F decides to have complete hysterical meltdown with howls of pain that had all of us (realtors included) thinking we needed to take her to the ER. She calmed down when one of the realtors left--is this a sign or did the numbing ear drops kick in??!?! Whew. This weekend--photos of house will be taken, looking at houses, cleaning house, 'staging' house and grocery shopping because there is nothing in this house to eat--except pureed baby food.

Sorry you are having such a tough week, when it rains it pours doesn't it. I think that fast food everynight is a perfectly good solution when you don't have time to shop, especially since Miss F still eats from a jar, you don't have to worry about feeding her junk. Don't feel bad, we all do it.
