Spring Break (so why was it so cold?)

We headed to Washington D.C./Viriginia for our spring break.  It was pretty chilly except for one, gorgeous, cool, sunny day--and that was the day I ran a 1/2 Marathon through our nation's capital.  Then it was back to chilly, grey skies and snow!  We had a great time, even if we had to flee a friend's house to escape 12 inches of snow and sometimes had on every item of clothing we brought on the trip all at the same time.
