Emerald City

We went into Seattle on Day 1 of our vacation. The girls rode a monorail, a super fast elevator and on a Duck (more on that).

They truly enjoyed participating in the 2nd germiest tourist attraction in the world: the Gum Wall! The 1st germiest? The Blarney Stone.

We fed Rachael the pig at Pike Place (and ourselves at the mini donut shop nearby), saw the tallest man's shoe, used the magic word to witness a magic trick and waited to see a fish fly (but our patience wore out first)

Then it was time for a ride on a Duck! One of those WWII vehicles that goes on land and water. The quacker was the best part for the girls but we enjoyed the narrated tour and fun tunes.

Last we headed up in a high speed elevator to the top of the Space Needle! We didn't see the Wheedle on the Needle like we'd read in a book but we saw him blinking later in our trip!

And I felt like I did a light plan for the day as we didn't do the underground tour or the Smith Tower or many other things. Still, writing this makes me a little exhausted. The girls did sleep well that night.
