Holiday Road, pt 2

I'm realizing, as I post these pictures, that we didn't take any of the family and friends that we saw and visited with along the way.  We attending a family reunion, I swear, and we saw 3 of my high school friends, seriously, but I guess that's a sign of the good time we had that no photos were taken, right?

We did head to the Ma.ll of Am.erica to meet one of my friends and her kids.  My girls loved visiting the Amer.ican Gi.rl store (we have one opening in just a week here in town) and riding all the rides at Nickelodeon Universe.

Miss F earned her McKenna doll and picked her up at the Mall

We at Famou.s Dave's BBQ.  Yup, there's BBQ up in Minne.sota and it was good!
We spent 7 hours at the Mall.  I never thought we'd spend that much time at a Mall but we sure did.  Dora had a bit to do with it.
We swam in the St. Croi.x River
Visted a cave.  It was 45 degrees in there.  Brrrrr!
Sign says it all.  Cheese factory!
On the way home we stopped at John Way.ne's birthplace in Io.wa and serendipitously it was also home to...
 The Bridge.s of Mad.ison County!
Last stop on the road home was the Action Figure Museum in Ok.lahoma.  Somedays I feel like the girls' rooms look like this.
