Week in Review

I have been sick this week but not sick enough, if you catch my drift. Moving slower, feeling puny but still on duty. I missed my training run this morning but I may have used my feeling poorly as a tiny bit of an excuse to sleep in...maybe..

Mr B. is here. He's working on his honey-do list right now. Walking past me as I type to get the tools needed to put up old Coke Box crates in what we're starting to fashion as the play room.

Miss F came home from school sick this week, also, but it was amazing how fast she recovered once she was home. I think she had caught a bit of the Januaries. Much like high school students get senioritis, it seems Kindergarteners get the Januaries.

McButter has a bad habit of demanding things. Today she demanded more chocky (chocolate milk). "I. Want. More. Chocky!" So I told her that I wanted a million dollars. She stopped and tilted her head and said, "So....you want my money?". Funny. Today I've been responding with insane things, too, like "I want a pony" and "I want to fly to the moon". She's catching on and knows to ask politely after my response. Now to work on the polite request to come first.

Miss F found my wedding dress. It's been in the closet since the day after our wedding in '02. I meant to cut out a bit of the fabric to make a quilt or a pillow or something and then trash the rest because it's wine stained and covered in mud from the Riverwalk sidewalks. As things go, it's just remained inside it's bag for the past few (many?!?) years. Miss F put it on and I snapped a picture then vowed to cut some of it up and then trash it. Guess where it is as I write this? In the closet. Any guesses on how long it will stay there this time?
