Things I Want to Remember About this Week

Yesterday I posted about McButter's first haircut. You know what was great? I could go back in the blog book I made and find when Miss F had her first haircut and you know what? The girls both had their first haircuts at 15.5 months! I love my blog and love that I have hardcover books to reference.

Things I want to remember about this week:

1. McButter's new obsession with throwing things away. We have to check the trash before taking it out to the 'big trash' because she's put in sippy cups, toys, etc. Oh, and if you're wondering how she gets to it, why, she bypasses the 'child proofing' and helps herself. It's also useful to keep her entertained when we're out and about. Give her one napkin at a time and have her walk to a trash can to throw it away.

2. I asked Miss F to help me read a book at bedtime and she looked at me, sighed and said "You're a big girl, Mommy, you can do it by yourself"

3. McButter has a runny nose and I keep checking her temperature via an ear thermometer. She hates it and cries and screams for all 8 seconds it takes to do it. However, if she gets her hand on the thermometer, she'll stick it in her OWN ear and make herself scream and cry. Silly girl.
