My Little Pony

Birthdays are big business. The person who came up with the indoor inflatable playcenters life depends on birthdays being big business. For Miss F's 4th birthday this year, I decided to rally against such things. To go back to the birthdays of yore with Pin the Tail on the Donkey, some cake and that's that. Somehow, someway having a nice, quiet party at home turned into me renting miniature ponies and one that had a pink mane to better fit our My Little Pony theme. Just having mini-ponies wasn't enough for us, no way. In my defense, we did have a Pin the Cutie Mark on the My Little Pony Game but we forgot to do it. We were too busy grooming ponies, riding in carts behind the ponies and learning how to lead ponies around the cul-du-sac. It was worth it but mark my words. Next year is a small, quiet party at home.

I applaud the effort to fight the consumer birthday monster, good luck next year! Sounds like Flinn had a great party though.
