Sorry for the absence. We were without internet connection for over a week! It was such a convoluted, gigantic, ball of twisted Christmas lights involving 2 modems, 3 ethernet cables, 2 visits from Comcast, 2 cancelled Geek Squad appointments and 2 visits to Best Buy. But we're up and running again.

I also have to admit that with Facebook and Twitter (jeny8675309), I am finding it harder and harder to blog. For two reasons: the first is that FB and Twitter are easier and can be accessed through my phone; the second is that I feel that most of my blog readers are reading either the FB or Twitter updates and I hate repeating. However, I will try to get better about blogging.

And with the movie Julie/Julia coming out, I'm envious of someone turning their blog into a book and then a movie. Surely I can figure out a way to do that, too. Or, I'd like to be like Dooce (www.dooce.com) and be on Forbes list of influential people and make 500K with my blog alone. Stay tuned.....
