Summer Reading Club

Some of my fondest memories of summer include participating in the Summer Reading Club and visiting the library for their special summer programming.

Miss F and I read 20 books and turned in her record to the local library. She won some great prizes, one of which was a free Justaburger from Whataburger (a fast food chain here in TX). She was so proud of herself. Like her face paint? We'd gone to the Children's Museum and her favorite thing was painting her face and reading books about simple machines.

Notice the nice ladies behind her in the photo. They jumped up and were so helpful when I spilled a large soda all over the place and Miss F was crying and McButter was spitting up. It really does take a village sometimes...

Next up? She got a free circus ticket. Help me. I'm scared of the circus but I'll take her because she wants to go.

You're "What I'm reading" list is interesting - I've read 3 of the 5 books you have on there. Now I may have to check out the other two as well.
