I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes

Oh lordy do I want a cheeseburger from Fuddrucker's or Red Robin. I haven't eaten all day. It's time for my bi-annual colon-a-go-go fun fair. I didn't eat at all today and have to fast until I get an IV at noon tomorrow.

We had a good weekend even if I haven't been able to eat today. Friday night we chilled at the casa. Yesterday Mr. B and I got fingerprinted which is the final frontier in the adoption. The form we need takes 30-90 days. If it takes 90 days we have to start all over because all our paperwork will be void. Please, please, please let it take 30 days!

Miss F and I and some friends went to Baby Loves Disco. I love the concept: a 'nightclub' for kids and parents during the day: disco music, lights, disco balls, bubble machines, etc. However, my vision of the kids dancing while the moms danced along with cocktails in hand catching up on our week didn't happen. Instead, it was like those times you're in a crowded nightclub and you're trying to keep track of your really drunk friend who is out of control and all over the place. Except it wasn't a friend, it was Miss F (well, and she wasn't drunk...not off alcohol, at least, but she must've had 4 juice boxes in about 30 minutes). After 2 hours of chasing her around a crowded nightclub, I came home and napped! After she went to bed we watched "The Queen".

Today we went to the zoo and then decorated the house for the month of October. Mr. B framed in an A/C unit in what is to become our 'guest cottage' off the garage out back. Miss F played and napped and ran amok.

Miss F is able to count to 10, she counts 'quatro, cinco and seis' in Espanol, she can sing the entire ABC song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She still loves Dodo (Dora) and came home out of the blue asking for "The Wiggles". She loves 'nastics (gymnastics) but still can't quite jump. Yesterday was the first time I saw her really play and interact with a friend. Granted, neither I nor the other girls mom could understand the 'game' or what the two were saying to one another but they were having a grand ol' time.
