I know you will all be shocked to know this but Miss F and I did not go to the zoo, the park or the children's museum this weekend. Nope. I did it. I stayed home and we played at home in the yard. Granted, I invited over the neighborhood kids and hosted a playgroup of 6 children/moms but we stayed home. It was really nice to finally use all our outdoor play stuff.
Miss F is doing well. Her latest tricks are doing the "I don't know" shrug with her arms up (even when she DOES know) and holding out her arm and saying "Cole bite" and "Dog bite" though we don't think Cole (a boy at daycare) or Sheba (the dog) bit her arm. She likes showing off her 'boo boos' (and lately her knees are permanently scraped up from falling with skirts/shorts on) and 'ows'. She is a vegetarian and refuses to eat any meat but Chik Fil A chicken nuggets. She can find the smallest shred of chicken and pulls it out of her mouth. She does like eggs and fish and her favorite seems to be red bean and rice (good Cajun girl).
Mr B and I are doing well. Mr B has been working late and worked this weekend and will hopefully rejoin the B Family soon. For now, work has him full-time. I am getting ready to wrap up this school year and am ready for summer. Woot.
Has anyone seen the Hallmark commercial with the guy learning to read? It breaks my heart. He starts with "The Pokey Little Puppy" and moves up to "A Tale of Two Cities". Then he goes home and pulls out all the cards his daughter sent him and reads them for the first time. Oh! Just makes me want to cry right now thinking about it.

I was about to be impressed, but after continuing to read your post, I now think it doesn't count as staying home, since you hosted 6 moms/children!!! That's work! Staying home is not getting dressed, lying on the rug as your children build block towers on your abs, eating cereal or pancakes for non-breakfast meals, etc. I am an expert!!!
Where do you get your energy? Will you give me your secrets!!! You are AWESOME!!
