First, a shout-out to Erin of the K Family who started her blog today! Yay! Erin has been mentioned in my blogs before (sometimes her alias is Er-Bear). Her baby boy was born in December and is preh-eh-cious. Now Stokes and Woolf and a few others--let's get it started, yeah?
Miss F went to her first dentist appointment today. The whole office thought it was due to her fall but really it was a 'get to know Dr. Dentist-man' visit recommended by the dentist, doctor and books. She did well and enjoyed watching "High School Musical" and "Little Mermaid" while watching the train that circled the office.
We went out for dinner at Spaghetti Western tonight. Mr. B and I split the Italian Nachos--fried wonton paper smothered in alfredo sauce, sausage, mozzerella cheese, black olives, banana peppers and parmesean cheese (jealous Mrs P? Didn't we just talk about them the other day?). As Miss F would say 'num-num-num'. A funny thing happened. I had 2 of them and then felt ill. Same thing happened when I tried to have a Blizzard this weekend (and, in fact, I did get ill with that). I guess this diet has a) shrunk my stomach and b) lowered my tolerance for greasy, bad food (and my ability to consume mass quantities of it). Yay, me! Though WW points can be frustrating, it really does allow you to make choices and feel successful. Still, the 2 I ate were soooo worth it. If you live in H-town. You gotta try Spaghetti Western.
While driving home today my imagination went a bit wild (I believe a friend's mother once accused me of living my life in Technicolor)....I was at a stoplight when I had a thought....if there was a car chase going on and the speeding car came up behind me and wanted to push me out of the way (and into the busy intersection)...should I put on my parking brake? Wouldn't that make it harder to push my car into the intersection. Just a weird, random musing.
I presented my Rachael Ray experience in front of the whole student body today. I started my Powerpoint with a picture of Molly Shannon doing Mary Catherine Gallagher (Supa-star). They loved it. Every time the kids see me now they say "Supa-star". Fun times. Oh, and Madeline, I gave them your blog address as it was the reason I wrote into the show so....they wanted to check it out. There's only 400 of 'em...no biggie....

so glad to hear that your visit to the dentist was successful. I have known "Dr. Mark" since he was in pedo school and he is one of the good guys!

Not sure if this already went through or not. Still trying to get the hang of this blog thing. I definately think Caleb will be fond of older women in his older age and him and Miss F would make an adorable couple. However...you guys would have to move back to Wisconsin cuz you won't be catching us move to Texas. Sorry!!
Thanks again for getting us started on this blog biz. It will be fun.

Uh...Spaghetti Western??? I don't recall an invite? Hee-hee. I'm glad you enjoyed it. We really should try to go as a group. It's an easy place to take the kiddos, and we know A loves to eat!
