So I was at a meeting today and I sat next to a loud swallower. It was a breakfast meeting so for an entire hour I had to listen to 'gulp, glug, glug' as she drank her OJ (and refilled it twice to keep the loud swallowing going the entire time). For those of you that remember my college days, I had to move out of my freshman room due to my roommates weird chewing and hair drying noises. I have no tolerance for annoying noises.
We had dentist appointments today. I have a cavity. ARGH. Mr B has none. I hope Miss F gets his teeth.
After working so hard on my goals, I'm not sure that I put down 'floss more'. Speaking of my goals, I have completed quite a few of them already! YAY!
One was joining an organic co-op. I paid money for a small share. I picked it up and it was celery, lettuce, garlic, green onions, apple, sweet potato and spinach (? we're not quite sure what this mystery item is--rhudabega? rhubarb? spinach? weird growth thingy?). In some ways I like that it makes me try new things. In others, I think I would like to pick out my own produce without being handed a bag and that's that. It's so organic, though, that the celery came complete with dead caterpillers in one of the stalks. I'm not sure I'll do it again but I tried it!
