Getting to Know you--Holiday Version

My friend C.W. sent this via email...I thought I'd fill it out here. More goals, photos, etc. to come. Just got back from Little D and had a nice pre-Christmas with the B side (TX B's, that is).

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? A little of both and totally guilty of reusing gift bags

2. Real tree or artificial? artificial and not apologizing for it

3. When do you put up the tree? Right after Thanksgiving

4. When do you take the tree down? January 2nd.

5. Do you like eggnog? Yes but not as a drink--egg nog latte, egg nog cookies, egg nog float

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Barbie Motorhome, Monchichis, Pink Boombox...

7. Do you have a nativity scene? I just got my great-aunt Cookie's nativity from my Uncle Tony.

8. Hardest person to buy for? Mr. B

9. Easiest person to buy for? Miss F, she still has no clue....hee-hee

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? The one I'd already opened and re-taped. That really does ruin things--Never again!

11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail...if you didn't get one, I probably emailed and asked for your address but you never responded (hint, hint)

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? 'Christmas Vacation', 'Christmas Story', 'Miracle on 34th St.' and lately, 'Love Actually'

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I used to have Christmas done by October. Now I've skidded into the last 5 days of shopping and still am not finished. ARGH!

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not that I can think of, some do go to Goodwill though (sorry)

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? B.A's frosted cookies, Puppy Chow (chocolate/peanut butter chex mix covered in Powdered Sugar)

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? All are beautiful--I tend to like white on houses, colored on trees

17. Favorite Christmas song? 'Feliz Navidad' because you can't help but sing along and shake your booty and 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' because I like to say 'wissssssshhhhhhh' like I did in school concerts

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? We're trying home this year.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? We have nothing...I can't find any. Send me ideas where to buy tree toppers!!

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? One on Eve (usually PJs or slippers) and the rest on Christmas Day

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Seeing the decorations and 'stuff' for sale in October!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
