We're Aliiiive

Please remember that the pictures in last week's blog are the BEFORE. I will post AFTER when I can move some boxes around so you can actually see the famous 'floors' that are, yes, they are, done! Now our only excuse for living la vida messy is that we're, well, messy (in our defense we're a bit tired, too).

Let's see...Mr. B turned 1/2 way to 70 on Friday. On Saturday we went to a Birthday Party and to a baby shower for one of Miss F's daycare ladies. On Sunday, Gerardo needed the house to himself to finish his magic so Mr. B went fishing and Miss F and I went to the park for a picnic (that's her in her sun cabana at the park) and then to the zoo. It was hotter'n'Hades (and crow-ow-ded) so we picked up Mr. B and went to the Y and swam. Miss F is a water baby. She does a dog-paddle with kicks and arm movements and everything. She was annoying other people by splashing so much so I had to keep us away from the general public. She started swim lessons today and besides not knowing the whole 'blowing bubbles' thing--she did great and she's the youngest in the class. The instructor says she'll be swimming soon (remember this when she's standing on that Olympic Podium for the 50m Butterfly)
