Happy Mother's Day

Yay! I had a Mother's Day and it was nice. Miss F gave me some spending $$ (can't decide if I blow it on Starbucks or cute T-shirts at Target) and Mr B gave me an IOU to see a play of my choice. The Alley Theatre here in H-town puts on 2 plays in the summer as part of its "Summer Chills" series and they're always good mysteries so I'm going to cash it in when those roll around. Last year we saw a great Agatha Christie play and I tried to get the OK to name Miss F Agatha. That was vetoed. A character in the play was Pippa so I tried for that name, too. I lost on that one, also. We also went for Dim Sum--yum, yum!

It was brought to my attention that in some of the photos on this blog, Miss F has stained clothing. I was also reminded that in college, the saying was "If it's not stained, it's not B's" because all my clothes were always stained. I was not as messy as Miss F in this photo but food just seemed drawn to my shirts and pants. I always thought that was the reason none of my roommates borrowed my clothes. I mean, it couldn't have been that I went through a polyester, if Marcia-Brady-Didn't-Wear-It-Than-Neither-Will-I stage and a combat boot/plaid skirt/wicked witch of the west striped tights/Courtney Love pink haired, tryin' for dreads phase.

I must go now, Grey's Anatomy season finale is starting in 10 minutes...2 hours of Patrick Dempsey.
