It is Sunday @ 3:30 PM. Gerardo (cue "Rico Suave" in the background) has put the flooring in the hallway and 1/2 the Master Bedroom. We move in at 7 AM Tuesday. Do the math--there is exactly 39 1/2 hours left for him to put flooring in the other 2 bedrooms, the den, the dining room and the living room. He has a regular full-time day job to go to tomorrow so take away ~9 hours for that and we're down to 30 1/2 hours. That's without him sleeping AT ALL. He swears he'll get it done. We have Plan A, Plan B and Plan C in place. All of them involve moving our stuff to the garage at the new house and sleeping on the floor, possibly in a small room with ourselves, the animals and Miss F. He still swears he'll get it done hence the title of the blog for today--a little faith (but if anyone out there has a direct line to God, Buddha, Zeus, or any other deity we could use a little help here)
Miss F went to the babysitter's house for 6 hours on Saturday and we got a lot done. Not enough, though so she is confined to the Pack 'n' Play as we pack and not play. She has listened to Mommy and hasn't started crawling yet which is a great help. She is putting her rump in the air and rocking a bit so it's going to be that time soon, I fear. With our luck, she'll start crawling while we're confined to a small room, surrounded by boxes. Good Times. She is already shoe obsessed, too (see photo). She loves any shoes and attacks if you walk by her or leave them anywhere she can get her hands on them.
On a bright note--Thursday is the last
