I can't remember where we've hidden the camera and I think I'm too tired to take a picture even if I could find it.
Funny Miss F story--Wednesday as I was leaving school I received a phone call from Miss F's daycare. I heard them say that she had a 106 degree temperature (so it's a funny story in hindsight, I promise, as 106 is not funny). I call the doctor, I'm driving 85 mph, Mr B left work early, the whole run-in-circles, scream-and-shout way I handle any crisis. Turns out it was 100.6. The lady said 100 AND 6 so I think 106 but technically, the decimal can mean 'and'. It's like that book on punctuation Eats, Shoots and Leaves (implying someone ate, then shot a gun, then left) instead of Eats shoots and leaves (like a Panda would). She's fine. By the time we got her home it was 98 degrees and I stayed home with her the next day and she was full of vim and vigor, I tell ya.
Met Mr. B's old roomate and his wife for brunch on Saturday. It's a Small World moment--we were driving around looking at Open Houses a few weeks ago. As we drive by a couple out for an afternoon walk Mr. B yells "That's my old college roommate--I haven't seen him in 8 years". We spun the Pilot around and caught up with them, chatted a bit and made plans to hang out. All together now--there is just one moon and one golden sun....
Went to Miz G's wedding (now Mrs R, I guess) on Saturday. I bought the absolutely most fantastic dress ever. I was Audry Hepburn. It was strapless and polka dotted with tulle under a very full skirt (think '50s inspired). I got my groove on but the bride was smart enough to leave "Pour Some Sugar on Me" off the playlist. Even after I had a glass (or two) of champagne and was giving her a hard time about it. Classy wedding, Miz G, a good time was had by all.
Did anyone watch Extreme Home Makeover tonight (the 9th?) The father of the family works at Mr B's old high school. They built the house in the town over (which, by the way, has the coolest 'Welcome' sign ever--it says "This is God's country, please don't drive through it like Hell"). Just our 6 degrees of separation from fame moment for the week.
We put in an offer on a house. It's 1962-style so it needs some love but the location is good and we're excited about putting our own 'thumbprints' on a house. Crossing fingers for inspections/financing/etc. on our buyer goes well and that our process of inspections/financing/etc. goes well, too.

Yes, I do want more pictures of Miss F, but I really want to see a picture of this dress. I am facing the dress dilemma for a wedding in August in Ohio. Sigh.
