Stop the pigeon!

A moment of silence for Wilson Pickett...my favorite song of his is "Land of 1,000 Dances". I even danced my father/daughter dance at my wedding to that song...na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na,na, na, na, na, na...

I'm so excited! I just got DVR (basically Tivo through my cable box). In setting up programs to record and setting my 'favorites' on the remote, I discovered a station called BOOMERANG. Holy Moley it's the cartoon motherload. I've been sitting on my arse watching 'Snorks', 'Smurfs' and coming up in an hour is 'Dastardly and Muttley'. I love D&M, especially the theme song--'Stop the Pigeon, Stop the Pigeon'. Most people think I'm crazy when I talk about that song so I'm glad to know it truely is a cartoon and not my foggy, childhood memory.

My friend H took great photos of Miss F @ age 5 days. I attempted to do the same @ her 3 month mark (with plans to do the same @ 6 months, 9 months and 1 year). As you can see in the comparison below, I am not quite the photographer that H is.
