Mr B and I had the hardest time coming up with a name for Miss F. In fact, we didn't have a name for her when she was born! One of the biggest problems we had was that every name had a connotation in my mind--a student that misbehaved, a cheesy actress, a friend-of-a-friend that stole my boyfriend in high school, too popular of a name and on and on and on....so we finally gave Miss F her name and being that it's a surname, we figured we'd never hear it as a first name. But wouldn't you know....guaranteed....there's a new children's book out called F the Pirate and the Dinosaurs. Being a children's librarian, and this book getting good reviews, well, I'll probably buy it for my school's library. Lo and behold, the F in the story is a BOY. Then our neighbor tells us about her cousin named F who is a BOY. We unknowingly gave our daughter a boy's name. I'll start saving for therapy now. *Sigh*
Miss F HATES tummy time. She squalls and screams but in getting mad, she really works out doing baby push ups and rocking herself so that she almost rolls over. I figured it would be a great photo opportunity. Instead, today, she decided to just lie there and suck her hand. Immediately after the battery on the camera died, she started rocking and almost rollin' and screaming and doing all the things I'd wanted to capure on film--isn't that the way it always goes?!
Mr. B is very concerned about Miss F singing along with 'My Humps' and has now said that the only radio station to be played in the car is Radio Disney. And to think he used to make fun of me for having it programmed into my favorites! (also, am I getting old or are all the songs I love and used to even consider a little rockin' (like U2) on the Light Fm station?!)

I used to think Cities97 was just for old people but now it's pretty much all I listen too, kind of sad.
